Champions League Draw: Four Teams To Make Debut This Season

At least four clubs will be making their first appearance in the Champions League this season.

The teams are Como, LASK, Viking and Sabah, who have all secured places among the 36 clubs in the league phase after the qualifying rounds ended.

Como earned its spot after finishing among the top four teams in Serie A. The Italian club will compete alongside Inter, Napoli and Roma.

LASK secured a dramatic place in the competition after beating Celtic 5-1 in the second leg of their play-off. The result gave them a 5-4 aggregate victory.

Sabah also booked its place after defeating Hapoel Beer-Sheva 5-2 after extra time, completing a 6-4 aggregate win.

Viking will represent Norway alongside fellow Norwegian side Bodø/Glimt in this season’s Champions League.
