Traders at Abuja’s popular Banex Plaza have reportedly rejected a banner featuring President Bola Tinubu and the logo of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The incident was captured in a video that circulated on social media on Wednesday. The footage showed the banner lying on the ground in the plaza’s courtyard, while traders stood around it.
The person recording the scene was heard saying that traders would not accept the banner bearing the President’s image.
“Dem no gree allow Tinubu banner for Banex Plaza, they don’t want Tinubu.”
Another voice in the video also expressed opposition to the President, saying, “We don’t need Tinubu o.”
