A family in mourning has been left heartbroken after a graduate of Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) died only days after celebrating his graduation.
The sad news was shared by his cousin in an emotional Facebook post, where he struggled to come to terms with the sudden loss.
According to the cousin, they spoke just a day before his death. He also sent a voice note during their conversation, which has now become the last voice message the family member will ever receive from him.
The cousin recalled how they recently celebrated his graduation from UNIZIK, expressing sadness that he would not get the chance to enjoy the rewards of his hard work or experience the opportunities ahead.
He described the deceased as a lively person who had many dreams and plans for the future. He also lamented that his death came at a time when he had so much to live for.
However, the cousin did not reveal the circumstances surrounding his death.
