UCL: Carrick Opens Up On Man Utd’s Dressing Room Ahead Of Roma Clash

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has dismissed reports of a rift between him and his players, insisting that the dressing room remains united despite the club’s poor results.

Reports emerged last week claiming that the 45-year-old had lost the support of his squad, with suggestions that several players were working against him at Old Trafford.

United are currently going through a difficult run, having failed to win any of their last nine matches. They will welcome Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday as Carrick looks to turn things around.

Speaking to reporters ahead of the encounter, the United manager maintained that the team’s recent struggles have not affected his confidence or changed his view of the players.

“Bad results have not changed my mindset.

“The dressing room is in a good place. Perception is a funny thing, you can make things look in different ways.

“The commitment from the players, to the club and each other, I don’t question that at all.”
