Tinubu Will Take Nigeria’s Reforms to Another Level if Re-Elected in 2027 – First Lady

Nigeria will move from economic reforms to prosperity if President Bola Tinubu wins a second term in the 2027 elections, First Lady Oluremi Tinubu has said.

Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) North-Central Mega Rally in Lafia, Nasarawa State, the First Lady called on party members to gather support for Tinubu and Vice-President Kashim Shettima ahead of the polls.

She said the administration’s policies were already producing results, pointing to improvements in infrastructure, agriculture and other sectors.

According to her, Nigeria’s economy is becoming more stable, pressure on foreign exchange is reducing, and investors are returning. She argued that another term would allow the government to build on these gains.

The First Lady also spoke about government support for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding mothers through a food programme aimed at improving nutrition and treating malnourished children.

She added that students were benefiting from government funding programmes designed to support education.

Mrs Tinubu praised the president for taking tough decisions, expressing confidence that his policies would improve security and make the economy stronger.

She urged Nigerians to vote for the APC in 2027, assuring them that the party would campaign through its policies and programmes rather than hate speech or activities that could divide the country.

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule hosted the rally, which drew governors and other political leaders from across the North-Central region.
