Controversial pastor and media personality OBA Solomon has told members of his church how he wants his burial to be handled, including where he should be buried and how long his body should be kept before burial.
Speaking during a church service, he instructed his followers to bury him in his room after moving his bed. He also warned of consequences for anyone who disobeyed his wishes.
“Listen to me very carefully. When I die, move my bed from my room and bury me there. Anybody who flouts this instruction will drop dead because it’s my house.”
He also warned people against crying when news of his death is announced.
“After that, when my death is announced, anyone who cries will be struck dead by thunder. Cry for yourself, not for me. I don’t cry for people, so don’t cry for me.”
On embalming and the timing of his burial, OBA Solomon said his body should not be embalmed and should be kept for about four hours in case he woke up again.
“Also do not embalm me. When I die leave me for about 4 hours incase I redirect after that, bury me. If I die in the morning, leave me till around 4pm. If it’s in the night leave me till around afternoon, if I don’t wake up, bury me”
He added that he did not want an expensive coffin and told his wife she could find another partner immediately after his death.
“I am not keen on a fancy casket, just use any form of wood. You who are my wife, you are free to seek another partner from the next day. Because if you die, I will have sex the same day, so you are free. And it has become a decree as I have spoken it” he concluded.
