An All Progressives Congress (APC) supporter has warned that Nigeria could collapse and lose its current identity if President Bola Tinubu fails to win the 2027 presidential election.
The supporter urged Nigerians to vote for Tinubu, describing his administration as an effort to build a strong foundation for national prosperity and future generations.
The APC supporter also attacked opposition figures, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi, accusing them of being unfit to lead the country.
“To be candid with you, if Mr President, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is not elected to return, there will not be Nigeria. Nigeria will collapse. Who are the Atikus? Who are the Obis? Looters! Go and check their antecedents,” the supporter said.
The speaker argued that Nigeria needs a firm foundation, claiming previous administrations failed to build one capable of securing the country’s future.
“And the effort of Mr President is to give Nigeria a proper foundation that our children’s children will benefit from and be happy with. Not this kind, the foundation they’ve laid for us that is not solid,” the supporter added.
The speaker appealed to parents and young people to back Tinubu, saying his government was working towards prosperity, progress, happiness and joy.
The supporter also accused Atiku of misusing public resources during his time as vice president under former President Olusegun Obasanjo from 1999 to 2007. No evidence was presented to support the claim.
The speaker described Obi as a businessman and warned that opposition politicians could mortgage or sell Nigeria.
“If Tinubu did not return… I’m telling you, see, this is our Nigeria. This is our emblem. This is our emblem. We will change it to something else,” the supporter said.
Tinubu, who won the 2023 election, is expected to face opposition challengers, including Atiku and Obi, in 2027.
