Baba-Ahmed Rates Tinubu’s Government Poorly, Calls Him A Failure

The National Chairman of the Peoples Redemption Party, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, has labelled President Bola Tinubu’s administration a failure, accusing it of worsening the country’s problems.

Speaking on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday, Baba-Ahmed said Tinubu inherited a weak country but had failed to make meaningful changes after three and a half years in office.

“Tinubu inherited Nigeria, but what has he done with it? He inherited a poor country; he inherited weak institutions; he inherited poverty and insecurity. We don’t blame him, but he’s been in power for three and a half years. He is a failure,” Baba-Ahmed said.

He argued that Nigerians are now facing more difficulties than they did when Tinubu assumed office in 2023.

According to the PRP chairman, insecurity, hunger and economic hardship have continued to worsen across the country under the current government.

Baba-Ahmed said the President had promised to protect Nigerians and improve their living conditions but had failed to deliver on those commitments.

He also warned that Northerners would not forget what he described as the humiliation and neglect they had suffered under Tinubu’s administration.

With the 2027 election approaching, Baba-Ahmed maintained that the treatment of people in the North under the current government would not be forgotten.
