TikToker Peller has recalled how people doubted his relationship with Jarvis, questioning whether she would date him, their decision to marry and even the paternity of their baby.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Peller said people told him to focus on his career because they believed Jarvis would never be interested in him.
He said, “Everybody kept saying she wasn’t going to date me, that I should focus on my career and my life, that I should leave her alone.
“When this girl came to Lagos and I started living with her, they said, ‘Is it by living in her house? That I won’t even smell her pant?’ Some people were even cursing themselves that if I smell her pant, they should die. I said okay, but I was already washing pants.”
According to Peller, the comments did not stop after their wedding. People questioned why he chose a court marriage and claimed Jarvis wanted to spend all his money.
He said, “After that, we got married. They started saying, ‘Why would I do a court marriage? She wants to chop all my money.’ Which money do I even have? Like, must you have a say? Must you have a say?”
Peller added that people later began questioning whether he was the father of their baby and called for a DNA test.
Reacting to the demand, he said, “After the wedding, now we have a baby. They’ve all stopped what they were saying before, now they’ve started saying something else: ‘That baby, you have to do a DNA.’ Fuck DNA.”
