Afrobeats star Davido has reacted emotionally after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, winner of the 2026 Osun State governorship election.
Davido, seen in a trending clip, screamed with excitement as the election result was announced.
The singer was also seen falling to the ground emotionally as he celebrated Adeleke’s victory.
Adeleke, who contested under the Accord Party, was declared the winner after securing 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who polled 444,815 votes.
