Media personality Daddy Freeze has shared his thoughts on the controversy over TikToker Peller’s claim that fake dollar notes were sprayed on him during his wedding, saying celebrities and Nollywood actors are more likely to be behind it than wealthy guests.
Peller recently disclosed that many of the dollar bills sprayed on him at his lavish wedding to Jarvis were counterfeit. He said he found out when he tried to deposit the money at a bank.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Daddy Freeze dismissed claims that billionaires at the event could have sprayed fake dollars.
“Peller said he was sprayed fake dollars. It’s Nollywood actors and celebrities that’ll give Peller fake dollars, not billionaires like Chief Priest,” he said.
The broadcaster said his opinion comes from personal experience, explaining that he prefers to keep a close circle of highly successful people.
According to Daddy Freeze, he intentionally associates with people at the top of the business and entertainment world, saying they have little reason to do such a thing.
He also mentioned businessman Mr Ochacho’s reported wedding gift to Peller, saying it showed belief in the TikToker’s rising influence and future potential.
The issue began after Peller revealed that several of the dollar notes sprayed on him during his elaborate wedding celebration were fake, drawing widespread reactions across social media.
