BBNaija Gets Interesting as Biggie Puts Male and Female Housemates Against Each Other

Big Brother has introduced a new twist to BBNaija Season 11, splitting the housemates into male and female teams for some tasks and competitions.

Announcing the new setup to the contestants on Sunday, Biggie said, “The house would be split into two groups, the ladies and the guys, with key house challenges to be contested along those lines.”

The new format means wager tasks, arena games and other competitions will be contested between the two teams. Housemates will have to work together to win victories and rewards.

The move could change the mood inside the house, with contestants now having to balance teamwork with their personal plans while dealing with fresh rivalries and alliances.

BBNaija Season 11 officially began on Sunday, as organisers introduced the first set of housemates competing for the show’s record ₦160 million grand prize.

The live launch, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, saw the contestants introduced to viewers before they took part in short interviews and entered Biggie’s house.

With the gender-based team challenge now in place, viewers will be watching to see how the new setup affects relationships, strategies and competition among the housemates as the season unfolds.
