The Obi-Kwankwaso Movement has unveiled a 59-member Presidential Campaign Council as it intensifies preparations for the 2027 general elections and plans a nationwide grassroots campaign.
Announced on Thursday, the council has zonal and state coordinators, alongside directors handling mobilisation, women affairs, strategy and planning, security, legal affairs, IT, administration and public engagement.
Director-General John Ughulu will head the campaign council, while National Secretary Saadatu Sani is also part of the leadership. The structure covers the six geopolitical zones, the FCT and all 36 states.
Sani urged members to take the movement’s message to communities across the country.
“Your selection is not merely an appointment; it is a call to duty, sacrifice, leadership and service to Nigeria. At this critical moment in our nation’s history, the responsibility before the Presidential Campaign Council is enormous,” she said.
She added that the movement was focused on a wider national vision.
“The OK Movement is not built around individuals seeking personal recognition. It is a movement driven by a larger national vision: to mobilise Nigerians around the possibility of a better, more prosperous, united and functional Nigeria,” she stated.
Zonal coordinators include Suleiman Abubakar, Hashimu Dungurawa, Amadu Gwambe, Dr Adebayo Adefolaseye, Christopher Ighodaro and El-Shaddai Ikeh.
Other key appointees include Sabo Gashua, Glory Adayi, Kabir Yahaya, Abdumumini Tijjani, Abiodun Dabiri and Richard Enemona.
The unveiling comes as political activities build ahead of 2027. Last month, the movement said it would retain its independent structure and reaffirmed Ughulu as founder and Director-General.
