A video showing the moment Afrobeats singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, teased FCT Minister Nyesom Wike over the outcome of the Osun State governorship election has gone viral.
In the 16-second clip, Davido told Wike that he had defeated the All Progressives Congress, APC, government.
“But I won. I beat you guys,” Davido told Wike while visiting the minister’s residence in Abuja with his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke.
Wike responded jokingly, saying he would collect Adeleke’s Certificate of Return. His remark triggered laughter among those at the meeting.
Adeleke visited Wike shortly after holding a closed-door meeting with President Bola Tinubu at the State House in Abuja.
