VeryDarkMan Makes U-Turn, Withdraws From P-Square Family Feud After Backlash

Nigerian social media activist VeryDarkMan has withdrawn from the ongoing P-Square family dispute following pressure from netizens to stay out of the matter.

Many internet users had criticised VeryDarkMan for defending Jude Okoye and allegedly trying to shift attention away from Peter Okoye’s claims against his twin brother, Paul, and Jude.

After Peter shared evidence online, several Nigerian and international celebrities rallied behind him.

Liberian actor Frank Artus also warned VeryDarkMan in a video to “stay off Okoye’s family”.

However, in a video released on Sunday evening, VeryDarkMan made a U-turn on his earlier position and admitted that Jude was partly responsible for the dispute.

He blamed Jude for refusing to step down as P-Square’s manager after Peter allegedly asked him to quit over claims of financial mismanagement.

“I just want to make one point about this P-Square thing, I see a lot of people saying VDM, you are sounding as if Jude did not have a fault in all of this. As if Jude is innocent and Peter is just saying all of this without trigger.

“Well personally after listening to Jude and Peter, if you ask me who to put the blame on, I will say I will put 40 percent of the blame on Jude, and I put 30 percent of the blame on Peter, and another 30 percent on the wife, the family and everybody.

“And to the people insulting me, it is not a crime. You can insult people. Now there’s balance in views in the P-Square matter,” he said.

While stepping away from the dispute, VeryDarkMan also disclosed plans to begin preparations for a police panel over his allegations against AIG Jimoh Moshood.
