A Ghanaian man identified as Kakra has appealed to his wife’s family to help bring her back after she allegedly abandoned their marriage and left their two young children behind.
Speaking on a television programme on Thursday, October 29, Kakra claimed that Mary left their home despite having two children with him, aged one and five.
He revealed that he met Mary through his uncle, who arranged their marriage. According to him, her bride price was initially GHC 3,000, but he pleaded with the family until it was reduced to GHC 1,500.
Kakra claimed Mary did not look good when they first met, but he took care of her until she became beautiful.
He also disclosed that Mary had four children from a previous relationship before they got married, while he had no children at the time. Despite this, he said he accepted and loved her unconditionally.
However, he claimed that he woke up one morning to discover that Mary had left, abandoning their two children.
Kakra said he contacted her family, but they denied knowing her whereabouts. He, however, believes she is hiding with them.
He is now begging the family to return his wife, while they are also demanding to know where their daughter is.
