‘Please Forgive Me’ – Fatai Okoya Begs Billionaire Father Razaq Okoya After 40 Years Apart

Fatai Okoya has appealed to billionaire businessman Razaq Akanni Okoya to forgive him and give them another chance to rebuild their relationship after more than 40 years apart.

In an open letter shared online, Fatai described himself as the founder of Eleganza Group’s first child and expressed regret over their long separation.

“More than four decades have passed, and today, I write with a humble heart, putting aside all pride to say: Dad, I am truly sorry. Please, find it in your heart to forgive me,” he wrote.

He said he had tried to contact his father in the past but continued to feel the pain of their separation.

“Over the years, I have tried to reach out and make peace because the pain of our separation and the precious years we have lost weigh heavily on my heart,” he said.

Fatai urged his father to focus on the future, saying they still had an opportunity to reconnect.

He also expressed his readiness to rebuild their bond with humility and sincerity, adding that he missed having his father in his life.

Razaq Okoya founded Eleganza Group after starting his career as a trader before moving into manufacturing in the early 1970s.

In February 2026, his son Raheem, popularly known as Siraheem, said his father had 26 children with nine women. He described himself as the 23rd child.

However, available information does not independently confirm Fatai’s claim of being the eldest child. His mother’s identity and the reason for the family rift remain unclear.

As of the time of this report, Okoya had not publicly responded to the letter.
