Streamer and content creator Carter Efe has revealed that singer Davido warned him to stop insulting Wizkid after people started believing Davido was behind his comments.
Carter Efe said Davido personally contacted him and told him, “Don’t ever, don’t ever in your life insult him again. That people think that he’s the one sending me.”
According to him, he quickly apologised, saying, “I’m sorry daddy, I will never do it.”
When asked if Davido had ever cautioned him about his comments, Carter Efe confirmed that the singer specifically told him not to insult Wizkid.
He made the revelation while speaking about the celebrity he would like to meet in an entertainment boxing match. Carter Efe picked Wizkid but made it clear that he meant a celebrity boxing event, not a real fight.
“No, because it is a celebrity fight. He’s a celebrity too, well I’m a celebrity too. I want us to just be on the same ring together. Let’s just, let’s just, let’s just do the entertainment boxing,” he said.
Asked if his issues with Wizkid were linked to Davido, Carter Efe responded, “No! No!” before explaining the warning he received from the singer.
