Davido, Wande Coal Fight Dirty on Social Media Over Unreleased Song – Full Gist

Wande Coal and Davido have exchanged words on social media over their unreleased collaboration, ‘Come My Way’.

The dispute followed comments Davido made during a recent podcast interview, which he later shared on his Instagram Story.

Davido explained that the song was never released because he and Wande Coal disagreed over how it should be released.

According to him, Wande Coal first asked him to feature on the song, and he recorded a verse. However, the issue started when Wande Coal planned to release the original song first and later add Davido’s verse for a remix.

Davido said he did not record his verse for a remix, adding that the disagreement over the release plan prevented the collaboration from coming out.

Wande Coal, however, disputed Davido’s version, saying ‘Come My Way’ already had a release plan and date before their disagreement.

“Carry song come give you as how? Song wey been get release plan and date!!! Song wey no be your own you wan dictate release plan,” the singer said.

He also pointed out that the song did well without Davido’s contribution, rejecting claims that its failure was mainly due to his release strategy.

“That song fkin did well without you on it bruv!!!,” he added.

The issue later grew on social media after Davido responded on X, leading to more exchanges between both artistes, with Davido referring to Wande Coal’s manhood as small. Wande replied by calling him ‘Toto Beggar’, before Wizkid’s DJ, Tunez, voiced his opinion, saying Davido shouldn’t whine Wande Coal and imploring him to leave singing to those who know how to sing.
