A masked guest known as Oga 9ja surprised newlyweds Peller and Jarvis with a ceremonial cheque worth ₦10 million during their lavish wedding reception on Saturday.
Wearing a full elephant mascot costume, black sunglasses, a white agbada-style outfit and coral beads, the guest made a grand entrance before handing the oversized cheque to the couple.
The cheque, displayed before guests and cameras, was made out to “Mr & Mrs Adelaja” and showed a cash gift of ₦10,000,000 (Ten Million Naira Only).
Videos shared across social media showed the moment Peller and Jarvis accepted the gift as guests cheered and filmed the presentation. On-screen captions called it a “Massive wedding gift.”
Soon after, Oga 9ja directed followers to a promotional website linked to an upcoming campaign focused on the couple’s future family.
The site, branded “Peller’s Biggest Drop Yet,” asks fans to predict whether Peller and Jarvis’ first child will be a boy, girl or twins before its official launch on August 14, 2026.
According to the landing page, participation is free. Those who submit predictions will qualify for cash giveaways ranging from ₦100,000 to ₦250,000, with winners chosen through raffle draws. The platform also asks users to provide their phone numbers to access what it describes as a “unique welcome offer” when the campaign goes live.
The campaign was unveiled just hours after Peller and Jarvis held their star-studded white wedding in Lagos. The event drew celebrities, influencers and business figures, including real estate mogul King Ochacho, who announced a reported ₦400 million mansion in Abuja for the couple, while socialite Cubana Chief Priest presented them with ₦10 million.
