Petc Godwin Okoye, a Nigerian man, has announced that his traditional wedding, earlier planned for September 12, 2026, has been cancelled.
Okoye confirmed the development in a Facebook post on Saturday, October 10, 2026.
He explained that the public announcement was meant to clear the air and inform well-wishers about the cancellation.
Although the wedding was supposed to take place last month, Okoye used the post to officially confirm that it would no longer hold.
“Greeting everyone I want to use this opportunity to officially announce that my traditional marriage which supposed to be on September 12/ 2026, was officially canceled. I just want to clear the air. God bless you all,” he wrote.
