A traditional introduction ceremony for Ugandan singer Yaled and his fiancée, Grace, took an unexpected turn when a woman showed up claiming the singer had promised to marry her.
The woman, whose identity remains unknown, reportedly confronted the groom after discovering that he was preparing to marry another woman despite allegedly promising to make her his wife.
The incident happened during the couple’s Kukyala ceremony, a traditional event where families formally introduce a bride and groom ahead of their union.
A video shared by blogger Matt Tee captured the ceremony before things took an unexpected turn. The indoor venue had been decorated with floral arrangements bearing the names of Yaled and Grace for the occasion.
However, the celebration was thrown into confusion following the woman’s arrival and her claims against the groom.
