Foluke Daramola has clashed with critics after her latest weight-loss video drew attention to more than just her new look.
The Yoruba actress shared a video on social media showing her weight loss, but some followers quickly turned their focus to her outfit.
One Mojminaj praised her weight loss but said her dress sense needed improvement.
“Hmmmm, weight loss good. Dress sense needs a better orientation, but otito koro”.
Foluke fired back, asking who had sought the critic’s opinion before taking a swipe at her family.
“Who asked you with all your egba nto line. Outfits that you don’t only wear, you still wear them on all your miserable family, plus husband like Gorilla and son like Chimpanzee”.
Another critic described her as a triangle shape and advised her to wear baggy jeans, flare dresses or skirts, and boyfriend jeans instead of leggings, jeggings and pencil jeans.
“Triangle shape, wear baggy jeans, flare dress or skirt, or boyfriend jeans. Say no to leggings, jeggings or pencil jeans. Thanks”.
Foluke replied, “Chief Adviser, thank you. I didn’t know I should wear an abaya to sleep or a sweater in my kitchen while cooking”.
In 2023, Foluke said she would begin a six-week weight-loss journey after sharing AI-generated photos and asked followers to support her.
She later shared a throwback photo from her younger days, prompting comments about her transformation. One follower, Grateful, said, “But you were never big. Kilo wa sele”.
