Nigerians on social media have reacted after a 2008 Toyota Avalon was reportedly used to transport Super Eagles players from the airport ahead of their 2026 AFCON qualifying clash with Madagascar in Uyo.
Photos and videos of the players arriving in the vehicle quickly drew attention, with some fans questioning the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) over the choice of transport.

But some fans defended the vehicle. @Olique7 said: “The car used to carry them from the airport is the least of our problems right now, we don’t even have proper stadiums na car we dey talk about,”
