Fuji maestro Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly known as KWAM 1 or K1 De Ultimate, broke down in tears on Sunday while paying tribute to late veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly called Ogogo.
Ogogo died at the age of 66 on Sunday, days after his battle with stage 4 cancer became public.
During a stage performance, KWAM 1 said he was deeply saddened by the actor’s death. He also praised Ogogo’s qualities and recalled how the late actor rose to prominence through his role in Owo Blow.
The Fuji star urged everyone to remain conscious of their final day on earth, stressing that death would eventually come for everyone.
KWAM 1 also condoled with the family of the late actor as Ogogo’s laying in state was scheduled to hold at his hometown, Ilaro, in Ogun State, at 10am today.
He further sympathised with the Ogun State Government, the Olu of Ilaro and the people of Ilaro over the death of the veteran actor.
