TikTok star Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, popularly known as Peller, has disclosed that Peter Obi, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) presidential candidate, contacted him about hosting a livestream ahead of the 2027 general election.
Peller shared the information during a TikTok livestream on Wednesday, making it clear that the planned session should not be seen as support for Obi’s presidential ambition.
The content creator stressed that his intention was simply to stream with the former Anambra State governor on his platform, not to campaign for him or encourage Nigerians to vote for him.
“Peter Obi reached out to me that he wants to do a livestream with me. Before you people get the wrong idea, I am not promoting any presidential candidate, and I am not asking you to vote for Peter Obi. I just want to stream with him on my platform,” he explained.
His comments come as Obi continues to engage with social media personalities through livestreams.
The former governor recently appeared on a livestream hosted by another TikToker, Emir Sirdam.
Peller’s disclosure has clarified his position ahead of the planned session, as he insists that hosting the presidential candidate does not amount to endorsing him for the 2027 election.
