Social media has been buzzing following reports that Nigerian music stars Burna Boy and Davido may have finally ended their long-running feud.
According to report, both singers attended Zlatan Ibile’s bachelor party on Thursday night, where they reportedly met face-to-face.
Instagram blogger Cutie Juls claimed that Burna Boy and Davido went into an upstairs room several times to settle their differences. Members of their respective teams reportedly waited outside the door.
Videos and pictures from the party have since circulated online, with many fans reacting to reports of the singers making peace.
One user, therealzakari, wrote, “Wizkid and him fans go shed hot tears”.
Another user, horpemih24, wrote, “VDM Okoye Aloba Adeleke wouldn’t be happy with this”.
Others also reacted, with one writing, “2 Lords must unite”, while another commented, “Wizkid about to tweet the whole day”.
Burna Boy and Davido have traded insults for years, with Burna also aligning with Wizkid, Davido’s rival.
In 2024, Burna criticised Davido after a fan urged him to start a family. He questioned whether the fan had seen the singer’s issues with one of his baby mamas.
Davido later described Burna as an upcoming artist in an interview, saying he and Wizkid were among the first to make a major impact. He also praised rising stars, including Burna, Mayorkun and Asake.
Burna fired back by calling Davido a joke. He also accused Davido’s fans of spreading lies about the singer helping him during his difficult days and insulted Davido during another online exchange.
However, the reported reconciliation has not been officially confirmed.
