Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems, has declared herself “off the streets”, prompting reactions about her search for love.
The Grammy-winning singer made the statement during a TikTok livestream, saying she was tired of men wasting her time.
Tems did not explain further but made it clear that she no longer wants to deal with men who approach her with ulterior motives.
“I don’t like it when guys waste my time. But for me, never again. I don’t have that problem anymore. I have left the streets; I wouldn’t even say I was ever on the streets,” she said.
The singer had earlier spoken about her experiences with men and revealed that many who approached her for relationships were more interested in her body than building a genuine relationship.
