Media personality Toke Makinwa marked her 42nd birthday in a special way, choosing to begin the celebration with a session of praise and worship.
The former on-air personality invited a praise singer to offer songs of thanksgiving as she danced and enjoyed the worship session.
Sharing a video of the moment on social media, Makinwa explained that she had a personal reason for dedicating the praise to God, adding that she wanted to show her gratitude for His goodness.
“365 days around the sun. I owe God this praise over a personal matter, and I’m here to give it, for you are a good God.
That second matter too dey o, but I know you will still do it.
TM day, it’s my birthday, and I spent my morning with my daddy.
In another birthday post, Makinwa shared beautiful pictures of herself wearing a white dress and head tie.
Describing herself as a child of grace, she reflected on how God had sustained her over the past year.
She also revealed that she almost cancelled the photo shoot but thanked her team for making sure the pictures became a reality.
