Grammy-winning Afrobeats star Burna Boy has taken another step in his fashion journey by launching his first footwear collection with premium Swiss sportswear brand On.
The singer made the launch a family affair, featuring his mother and manager, Bose Ogulu, his sister and stylist, Ronami Ogulu, and his longtime touring band, The Outsiders, as the faces of the campaign.
Speaking about his decision to involve his family and team in the multi-million dollar campaign, Burna Boy said his success comes from the efforts of many people working together.
He explained that the collection was designed to reflect community, resilience, and the importance of moving forward together.
The campaign was photographed by renowned photographer Ronan McKenzie. It features Burna Boy and members of his inner circle wearing the new sneakers alongside bold outerwear, distressed knitwear, and tailored outfits selected by his sister, Ronami.
The launch marks Burna Boy’s move from being known as a fashion icon to working directly with a major sportswear brand to create his own footwear collection.
