Former Manchester City captain Kyle Walker has said he may remove his ‘four in a row’ tattoo if the club loses its Premier League titles over alleged financial rule breaches.
Walker won six league titles during his eight seasons at City after joining from Tottenham for £45 million in 2017. Last year, he revealed a tattoo celebrating the club’s four straight Premier League titles between 2021 and 2024.
According to Daily Mail Sport, City could face a major points deduction that may send them to the Championship after being found guilty of breaking financial rules between 2009 and 2018.
Speaking to talkSPORT, Walker admitted he might have to remove the tattoo but hopes the club will keep its titles.
‘I’m probably going to have to do that.
‘But you look at the likes of the great Man United squad, and they never managed to get four in a row. So there’s only a select few of us that can say that we won four.
‘I’ll try and keep it on, but hopefully we don’t get the things taken away.’

Walker also defended his former teammates, saying they gave their best on the pitch. However, he admitted the situation looks bad from outside and must be addressed.
The right-back, who now plays for Burnley in the Championship, became City’s captain after their Treble-winning season in 2022/23.
City denies wrongdoing and is appealing the independent panel’s verdict. The Premier League accused the club of using false commercial deals to inflate revenue and hide costs by about £900 million.
The panel also found that City breached spending limits and failed to cooperate fully with the league’s investigation.
