TikTok star Jarvis has called out her husband, Peller, over his constant use of Pidgin English, telling him to speak proper English to their unborn child.
The incident happened during a livestream, where Jarvis was on a video call with Peller. After he spoke in Pidgin, she warned him against misbehaving and questioned whether he knew their baby could recognise his voice.
She urged him to speak English, especially phonetics, saying, “You dey behave anyhow. Don’t you know that this child can recognise your voice. He dey hear you. Abeg no dey speak pidgin for me. Stop speaking pidgin, speak English with me, speak phonetics with me babe”.
