Davita, the fiancée of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile, has revealed that the singer was too shy to ask for her phone number when they first met, forcing him to send someone else to get it for him.
In a teaser for their wedding documentary, Davita shared the story, saying, “To get my number, he asked somebody.”
“He is very shy. People will not believe him,” she added, leaving Zlatan laughing as he covered his face.
The singer also spoke about how he knew Davita was the right woman for him. He described her as “too perfect” and said she completed the story he believed God was writing in his life.
“She was the final thing that I saw that I knew that that story that said God was writing,” he said, explaining that meeting Davita made the story complete.
The documentary teaser also showed the couple taking part in a fun quiz about their relationship.
When asked who spent more money, Davita pointed at Zlatan. However, when they were asked who was more stubborn, both pointed at each other.
The clip ended on an emotional note as the couple prayed together, saying, “May we always find our way back to you and to each other, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
