The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has released the final list of presidential candidates and their running mates for the January 2027 general elections.
The list, signed by the Commission’s Secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, was released on Saturday in Abuja. It contains candidates from 18 political parties.
Of the 18 presidential candidates, 16 are male and two are female. The male candidates include Bola Tinubu (APC), Atiku Abubakar (ADC), Peter Gregory Obi (NDC), Adewole Ebenezer Adebayo (SDP), Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde (APM), Donald Duke (PRP), Sunday Chibuzo Okereke (LP), Omoyele Sowore (AAC), Sandy Ojang Onor (PDP), Rufai Adekunle Omo-Aje (AA), Aliyu Abbas-Bin (ADP), Kabiru Yusuf (APP), Sunday Adenuga (BP), Moses Olusoji Adebisi (DLA), Nkem Esther Okereke (NRM), Daniel Daberechukwu Nwanyanwu (ZLP) and Peter Ada Agada (YPP).
The two female presidential candidates are Ada Elizabeth Fredrick Okwori (NDP) and Nkem Esther Okereke (NRM).
INEC also listed 14 male and four female vice-presidential candidates.
The female running mates are Peace Egobia Ofordile (APP), Nafisat Usaku Abubakar (DLA), Hajja Bintu Konto (LP) and Patience Ndidi Key (YPP).

The Commission also released the final list of candidates for the Senate and House of Representatives elections.
