Media personality Toke Makinwa has finally revealed the face of her daughter, Yakira Eliana, as the little girl celebrated her first birthday.
On Friday, Makinwa shared several photos of Yakira on social media, giving fans and fellow celebrities their first public look at the child after keeping her away from the spotlight since birth.
Marking the special day, she described her daughter as her “answered prayer” and greatest blessing as she reflected on becoming a mother.
“The best part of my story, finally yours to meet. Yakira Eliana. My precious answered prayer. My greatest love. My greatest blessing,” she wrote.
She added that she was sharing “a little piece of my heaven with the world” as Yakira turned one.
“God can be trusted, God is real… Just like Hagar my mouth can testify that I have met ‘El-roi’, the God who sees me,” she added.
In a light-hearted message, Makinwa introduced Yakira as her followers’ “niece” while praising her beauty.
“Guys, meet your niece. I cooked ohhhhhh. She is beautiful,” she wrote.
She also revealed some of her daughter’s nicknames, including YaYa, Ya Pom Pom and Ya Mama.
