Big Brother Naija star Phyna has criticised Nigerian hookup girls, saying they do not put enough effort into their appearance compared to women doing similar work in other countries.
In a video, Phyna recalled her recent trip to Kenya, where she noticed that women in the adult lifestyle industry paid more attention to their clothes, makeup and general appearance.
“I want to beg our hookup girls. I’m on my knees. You girls are not even taking this your job serious,” she said.
She pointed to some women around Orchid Road and Farm City in Lagos, claiming that they often go out without making much effort to look attractive.
“You just wear clothes as if you are going to buy a recharge card. They are wearing slippers. They’re wearing just one kind gown like that. No makeup, no lip gloss,” she complained.
Phyna also questioned why some of the women get angry when clients offer them low amounts, despite what she described as their poor preparation.
She urged them to improve their appearance by wearing heels, applying makeup and choosing more attractive outfits.
“At least, try and do lip combo. People just wear the wig, wear your clothes like that, wear bedroom slippers and stand on the road,” she added.
Phyna maintained that the women she saw in Kenya were more deliberate about their appearance and encouraged Nigerian hookup girls to make more effort.
