Atletico Madrid legend Diego Godin has revealed the Real Madrid player he would choose to sign if he had the chance.
Godin picked Uruguay midfielder Fede Valverde, praising his ability to play in different positions and describing him as a humble player.
“Which Real Madrid player would I sign for Atletico? Fede Valverde,” Godin told DAZN (via Madrid Universal).
“He can play all positions on the pitch, and is also a humble guy. He has a lot of Atleti DNA.”
Valverde joined Real Madrid from Peñarol in 2016 and has since become an important player for the Spanish giants.
The Uruguayan midfielder has won both the LaLiga and Champions League titles with Real Madrid.
